How Coaching Works

With each coaching session, you choose the agenda or focus of conversation, while I listen intently, offering observations and questioning. This interaction creates a clarity that enables you to take action. Coaching accelerates your progress by providing focus, self-awareness and concrete planning with clearly defined objectives and steps to reach specific outcomes.

Coaching is safe and confidential and is an "inside job" that begins with your attitudes and belief systems. If you can change an attitude or belief, then you can change a behavior. Once you change a behavior, you can start to move beyond individual blocks and barriers.

Coaching sessions are confidential - about 40 minutes each - either in-person or by phone (so you can live anywhere in the world). Email access and brief phone calls are available between sessions.






My coaching approach is "wholistic". Together, we look at your WHOLE life, not just your career. This interlocking circle depicts eight life areas including: abilities, skills, interests, personal style, family, values, goals and career development cycle. All of these areas are considered and integrated into our coaching work.
